Talent is not enough
Some are born with a silver spoon,
A gift bestowed at birth.
Some gifts are unwrapped early,
Others remain hidden, waiting their turn.

Talent is not enough
Talent is relative
Everyone claims they are talented;
Does that make us relative,
Simply because we share a surname?
The sky reminds us otherwise;
There’s still room for countless stars.

Talent is not enough
When talent and diligence become enemies,
The journey stalls.
A car without fuel
Succumbs to the law of inertia.
But when they are friends,
The sky becomes your starting point.
Footprints on the moon
Will outlive a generation,
And your name will echo in halls of greatness.

Talent is not enough.
Talent is jealous.
It craves consistency,
Despises mediocrity.
Nurtured with care,
It transforms potential into legacy.
