Talent is Not Enough!
Back when I was bit a tender child
When my inexperienced mind had just begun to digest information .
I was innately talented at crying.
Before long my feeble mind realized that to be taken more seriously I needed to cry my best.

From those tender moments of my life the universe has missed no chance to echo to me the transient need of consistent effort.
That even after being handed this mustard heirloom of talent
We are to invest in our seeds.
Watering it with consistency,by our efforts we are to create our own sun.

Not so long ago,I was fifteen.
Fifteen and struggling…
Struggling with all of the things my mind had whispered to me I was born to do!
Back then,my grandmother would tell me
“You are born a jack of many trades and that’s okay, but please choose to be a master of one”
If you look closely enough you’d see that the riches are in the niches.

Your talent is only pen to spell out your dreams.
It is effort that is the highlighter.
If you ever get to write out those dreams
Dedication would make them brighter.
And when the going gets tough as it would you should remember…
That yet again this rose-bush has got its own thorns.
Your talent is a spark but still friction is needed to start an actual fire.

Dearest Reader,
I know you’re a ball of talent.
God has blessed you with multiple drops of abilities.
Therefore it is possible to get lost in this Red Sea.
It is easy to think that because you are used to water then you know all there is to know about swimming.
Easy to pop each pill and get high on it just because you were born smoking hot.
Easy to forget that when you forget to top up on your supply you’ll experience withdrawal symptoms.

Your talent is only a chauffeur-it drives you!
But dedication and grit are the true gentlemen- always opening doors.
I know they say the gift of a man maketh a way for him…true.
But what they don’t tell you is what it takes to keep that way always open for you..

Talent is like the all expense paid trip to the games…
But only hardwork makes your team win the championship!
Hark!…we don’t need no herald angels to tell us that Talent alone is not enough!
Talent has never been enough.
Talent will never be enough
