Quramo Festival of Words Returns for 10th Anniversary with “Pieces of Us”

The Quramo Publishing’s Quramo Festival of Words (QFest) is set to mark a major milestone as it celebrates 10 years of African storytelling, literature and creative expression.

Scheduled for October 1–3, 2026, this year’s festival is themed “Pieces of Us,” a reflection on the stories, voices and experiences that shape who we are.

For a decade, QFest has brought together writers, filmmakers, thinkers, creatives and audiences, creating a space for meaningful conversations, fresh ideas and the celebration of African stories.

The 2026 edition will continue that tradition with three days of conversations, books, film, culture, creativity and storytelling, while also reflecting on the people, ideas and memorable moments that have shaped the festival across its first nine editions.

As QFest enters its second decade, Pieces of Us is more than a theme—it is an invitation to look at the fragments of our individual and collective experiences and discover how, together, they tell the bigger story of who we are.
