Words Give Me Wing''
"They shall mount up wings like eagles "
Isaiah 40:31 says it loud!
I am a soul on a journey
Carrying the seed of words
Craving deeply for fulfillment
Where expression flow freely like the oceans.
I wake up everyday to move forward
Striving at my goal
The world isn't smiling at me
And my friends are few
From afar they ask:
Is she okay?
But I know I am okay
In this journey words Give me wings
I am calm
Putting my feathers together
Well straighten out
So I can fly as high as the eagle
Quit
I can't quit
Because I have a dream
How can I be quiet?
Right in my soul is the seed of words
Longing for release
Words, Give me wings.
Words Give me wings
In lines and stanzas
To create mend and build
So I will mount up
My wings like the eagles
To fly so high.
